We work with Tutor House, an online tutoring agency, on an ongoing basis and much of what we do for it is creative, digital PR. We recently created a campaign – ‘Could you pass these GCSE questions?’ – for our client, which resulted in some great PR campaign results.
What we did:
We work with Tutor House, which is an online tutoring agency where people can find tutors nationwide to teach a range of subjects from primary school up to a university level.
As much of what we do for Tutor House is creative PR to build links from sites with a high Domain Authority (DA), we wanted to come up with a campaign that would be relevant to the client as well as resonate with lots of people.
The quiz was created in the run up to GCSE exams taking place (in early May), and given that exams are a common topic of conversation and frequently featured in the news (focusing on how easy/difficult they are) we thought it would be a good idea to create a quiz of common GCSE questions to test the knowledge of the public.
The quiz would allow people to answer questions themselves, in order to test their own knowledge and see if they could pass a modern day GCSE exam.
We packaged up the news story with a link to the full quiz hosted on Tutor House’s website, and issued it to our relevant media contacts.
As we expected, the story was an instant hit, and it generated lots of fantastic PR campaign results.
