Place of birth: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Did you go to uni? If not, what was your route into PR? I studied at the University of Gloucestershire and completed a BA in Popular Music. In 2017 I graduated and began a PGCE and found out the hard way that it wasn’t the industry I wanted to go into. I then went into Marketing for just over a year in different organisations and after a road-traffic accident, saw the University of Gloucestershire was advertising a Masters course in PR, Communications and Media – which brings me to now! I am due to graduate in 2020 and am currently undertaking an internship at Radioactive!
Favourite film? Childhood classic – Peter Pan, but I could just watch every chick flick under the sun on repeat – Cinderella Story, Mean Girls, 10 things I hate about you… the list goes on.
Favourite site to waste time on? Probably YouTube, I love a good ol’ failed hair dye attempt video and a TED talk now and again.
Why PR? I like being creative and I enjoy writing so it seems to be a perfect fit!
Dream client? Dream client would have to be organisations, brands and individuals that are willing to step out the box when it comes to the type of campaigns they create. I am a huge fan of Tourism Australia’s multifaceted humorous campaigns, so I would have to say them!
Tell us three interesting facts about you:
- I can do the splits
- I probably consume my body weight in Tea EVERY SINGLE DAY
- I am truly obsessed with my cat Sparky – I even have a tattoo of him on my arm!
Describe yourself in a few sentences: I am bubbly and enjoy meeting and talking to new people, though I am actually rather shy when it comes down to it. I think people should be kinder to others and to themselves and that the England flag should have a cup of tea and a scone on it.
