We work with Stratos Jets, a leading private jet charter firm, and ran a digital PR story for it around celebrities and their private jet usage!
What we did to get brilliant digital PR results:
We know that the press love ‘Rich Lists’, especially if they include a Kardashian! Using internal data from Stratos Jets and additional desk research, we could see which celebrities had spent the most on private jet travel over the course of one year.
Using information such as the cost of fuel, cabin crew wages, hangarage, insurance, and number of trips taken, Stratos Jets was able to see which celebrities were spending the most. Combining these data points meant we could create the final list, which saw President Donald Trump come out on top alongside Russian PM Vladamir Putin.
The majority of the coverage was secured during the first month of pitching, however, we also resent the release a few months later when news broke in Forbes that Kim Kardashian is now a billionaire. By jumping on this news, we gained additional coverage (we always look for ways to reuse and repitch content!).
Our digital PR campaign earned us some great results.
Digital PR results:
- 38 links from 30 pieces of coverage
- Coverage linking from high Domain Authority sites – including Yahoo! (95), Aviation Week (DA80) and Hollywood.com (DA78).
- Average DA: 60
